because all who eat the bread and drink the cup without recognizing the body eat and drink judgment against themselves. That is why many in your group are sick and weak, and some of you have died. But if we judged ourselves in the right way, God would not judge us. But when the Lord judges us, he disciplines us so that we will not be destroyed along with the world. So my brothers and sisters, when you come together to eat, wait for each other. Anyone who is too hungry should eat at home so that in meeting together you will not bring God’s judgment on yourselves. I will tell you what to do about the other things when I come.

Christianity calls us to sacrifice instead of living for oneself. We can't do both. Paul wrote about this in his letter to a divided and self-centered people to remind them to follow Jesus and only Jesus. In this RightNow Media study, Jennie Allen walks into the messy lives of the Corinthians and takes us through Paul’s words to learn how we should distinguish ourselves from the culture even today.
Jesus came that we might have "life to the full," and He warned that an enemy aims to rob us of it (John 10:10). Thus, from our experience, we must be intentional in this pursuit of abundant life. This assessment will help you to do just that by developing a personal P.L.A.N., an acronym we use to help you be fruitful and fulfilled in life and ministry. Enjoy the journey!
As New York pastor Rich Villodas defines it, a deeply formed life is a life marked by integration, intersection, intertwining, and interweaving, holding together multiple layers of spiritual formation. This kind of life calls us to be people who cultivate lives with God in prayer, move toward reconciliation, work for justice, have healthy inner lives, and see our bodies and sexuality as gifts to steward.
