Proverbs 7:1

Proverbs 7 frames sexual purity as a battle of wisdom over deception, reaching deeper than behavior alone. Lust grows when the heart drifts from God's Word, when the mind ignores danger, and when a person wanders down a path that leads to destruction. This four-day plan will help you treasure God's Word, recognize temptation, see through the promises of lust, and build a practical path toward freedom.

A proverb is defined as, “a wise saying or precept, a didactic sentence.” At a glance, the book of Proverbs is exactly that: a Biblical book of wise sayings and/or precepts that have been conveniently gathered together for its readers. But what if the book of Proverbs is something more? The book of Proverbs IS something more than a collection of cute phrases...it is Biblical wisdom!

In this 5-day plan, based on the Solomon Says devotional by Amy Parker and Sarah Humphrey, learn wisdom from the world’s wisest king. Each day examines a piece of wisdom from Proverbs with a modern perspective and application with the aim of helping tweens find their voice and grow in biblical wisdom.

Loneliness is an uncomfortable word for men. The first “not good” moment in Creation was when God saw that Adam was alone (Genesis 2:18). Loneliness was a concern for God right from the beginning. Over the next week, we will look into what the Bible says about loneliness and see the hope Jesus offers men.
