The wise woman builds her house, But the foolish tears it down with her own hands. He who walks in his uprightness fears the LORD, But he who is devious in his ways despises Him. In the mouth of the foolish is a rod for his back, But the lips of the wise will protect them. Where no oxen are, the manger is clean, But much revenue comes by the strength of the ox. A trustworthy witness will not lie, But a false witness utters lies. A scoffer seeks wisdom and finds none, But knowledge is easy to one who has understanding. Leave the presence of a fool, Or you will not discern words of knowledge. The wisdom of the sensible is to understand his way, But the foolishness of fools is deceit. Fools mock at sin, But among the upright there is good will. The heart knows its own bitterness, And a stranger does not share its joy. The house of the wicked will be destroyed, But the tent of the upright will flourish. There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. Even in laughter the heart may be in pain, And the end of joy may be grief.

5 Days
Encouragement from a mom who launched her seven children and lived to tell about it. Part 5 of 12 devotionals in this series from Robin Meadows!
In this new 5-day reading plan, author Sandra Byrd shares biblical insights and reveals God’s guiding hand in every detail of your day-to-day life.
You may feel anxious about sending your children into a world that too often feels dark and scary. But you can prepare your kids to live in the real world by equipping them with a sound mind and a foundation of faith. With God’s Word, you can raise emotionally healthy and spiritually strong children who not only remain unshaken by the world but also make a positive impact on it.
Created from Jessie Senecas’ Bible study by the same name, in this 5 day plan, you can become a more confident and wiser mom as you journey toward parenting with intention. No matter whether you’re a first-time mom or a mom who now has grandchildren, you’ll grow in your walk with God through Bible application, thought-provoking questions to answer, and action steps to help you be the difference in your children’s—and family’s—lives. This plan doesn’t have the power to make you the perfect mom, but it can help you become a mom who lives with purpose.
