While written for the military community, the themes apply to anyone who has experienced intense trials and wants to heal.

In this devotional, we will walk through biblical stories of a few patriarchs who were betrayed. With each word scribed in this devotional, my hope and prayer are that you will find the strength to forgive those who have betrayed you and that you will trust that God has a plan in a plan.

Why are we working so hard? Certainly, part of our ambition is to glorify God and do good for others. But when we inevitably find ourselves in seasons of overwork, we’d be wise to ask this question: What is the work beneath our work?
