1 Peter 3:10-12

How would you describe your faith journey?  Is it a well-established fire?  Is it warming? Comforting? Does it push away darkness?  Or is merely a spark? Not quite yet a flame?  Hardly casting a shadow.  These guided audio meditations will help recognize a spark from an encounter with God.  And watch the spark turn to flame.  Pushing out fear and darkness.

Are you afraid of snakes or spiders? Or emotional triggers like rejection or love? God designed fear to keep you from harm. A brain neuron called the amygdala sends signals to “be alert!” The theme of these guided audio meditations is conquering unhealthy fear. The first meditation explores overcoming past worries. The following reflection faces fears of the unknown. The third meditation addresses fears of evil.

As our children grow and begin taking interest in subjects and activities that are expressions of how God uniquely created them, we may find that we don’t really know them as well as we thought. We may feel that we don’t understand our kids well enough to confidently provide the direction and encouragement they need. This week, let’s think about how we can learn more about our children and what appeals to them.
