And at the ninth hour, Jesus shouted with a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” (which is translated, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” )*

And when the centurion, who was standing opposite Him, saw that He breathed His last in this way, he said, “Truly this man was the Son of God!”

And the curtain of the temple was split in two from top to bottom.

But Jesus uttered a loud cry and breathed His last.

Now when the sixth hour* arrived, darkness fell over the whole land until the ninth hour.*

So Pilate, wanting to do what was satisfactory to the crowd, released Barabbas for them. And when he had Jesus flogged, he delivered Him to be crucified.
