What is the benefit, my brothers, if someone says that he has faith but does not have works? That faith cannot save him, can it?

You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe and are seized with fear.

However, someone will say, “You have faith and I have works. Demonstrate to me your faith apart from your works, and I will demonstrate to you my faith by my works.

For judgment is without mercy to the one who has not shown mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone.

You see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was perfected.
