Now to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the collective benefit.

Now you are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

And if one member surfers, all the members suffer with it. If one member is honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healings by the one Spirit; and to another workings of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another discernments of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another interpretation of tongues.

But one* and the same Spirit works all these things, apportioning to each one individually, just as He wills.

so that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.

Now there are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are different kinds of ministries, and the same Lord. And there are different kinds of effects, but the same God, who works all things in everyone.

And God has set some in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, various kinds of tongues.

For the body is not one member, but many.

On the contrary, much more, those members of the body which appear to be weaker are indispensable

If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the sense of smell be? But now God has set the members, each of them in the body, just as He wanted. And if all were one member, where would the body be?
