"Men, why are you doing this? We are human beings with the same nature as you! We are bringing you good news, urging you to turn away from these empty things to the living God, who created the heaven and the earth and the sea and everything in them.

This man listened as Paul spoke. Paul looked directly at him and perceived that he possessed faith to be healed. Paul called out in a loud voice, "Stand upright on your feet!" The man leaped up and began walking around.

After Paul and Barnabas appointed elders for them in each congregation, they prayed with fasting and entrusted them to the Lord in whom they had placed their faith.
