Thy mercies manifold remember, Lord, I pray: Also thy pitty plentiful for they have been alway.

Direct me in thy truth, and teach me I thee pray. Thou art my God and Saviour, on thee I wait alway.

Mine eyes and thankful heart to him I will advance, That pluck’d my feet out of the snare of sin and ignorance.

His mercy is full sweet, his truth a perfect guide: Therefore the Lord will sinners teach and such as go aside.

But shame shall them befall which harm them wrongfully; Therefore thy paths and thy right ways unto me, Lord, descry.
