I will praise You, for I am awesomely and wonderfully made; Your works are marvelous and my soul knows it very well.

Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts, And see if any wicked way is in me; and lead me in the way everlasting.

For You have possessed my reins; You have knit me together in my mother’s womb.

Your eyes did see my substance, yet being unformed; and in Your book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there were none of them.

O LORD, You have searched me and have known me.

Where shall I go from Your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from Your presence?

You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thoughts afar off.
