Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Your word I have laid up in my heart, so that I might not sin against You.

With what shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.

Blessed are they who keep His testimonies and who seek Him with the whole heart.

You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word.

Give me understanding, that I may keep Your law and observe it with all my heart.

Incline my heart to Your testimonies, and not to covetousness.

It is good for me that I have been afflicted, so that I might learn Your statutes.

This is my comfort in my affliction, that Your word has given me life.

Make me to walk in the path of Your commandments, for I delight in them.

Teach me, O LORD, the way of Your statutes, and I shall keep it unto the end.

My soul melts away for sorrow; strengthen me according to Your word.

O how love I Your law! It is my meditation all the day.
