And at the ninth hour, Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which is, being interpreted, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”

Then the centurion who stood facing Him, witnessing the words that He cried out as He was dying, said, “Truly this man was the Son of God.”

And the veil of the temple was split in two from top to bottom.

And after crying out with a loud voice, Jesus expired.

Now at the sixth hour, darkness came over all the land until the ninth hour

So Pilate, willing to do whatever would satisfy the crowd, released Barabbas to them. And after he had scourged Jesus, he delivered Him up to be crucified.
