Then Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized each one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you yourselves shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

And they steadfastly continued in the teachings of the apostles and in fellowship, and in the breaking of bread and in prayers.

And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit; and they began to speak with other languages, as the Spirit gave them the words to proclaim.

And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like the rushing of a powerful wind, and filled the whole house where they were sitting. And there appeared to them divided tongues as of fire, and sat upon each one of them. And every day, steadfastly continuing with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread in their houses, they partook of the food with gladness and sincerity of heart, Praising God and having favor with all the people; and the Lord added to the church day by day those who were being saved.

And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” ’

The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.
