No temptation has come upon you except what is common to mankind. For God, Who is faithful, will not permit you to be tempted beyond what you are able to bear; but with the temptation, He will make a way of escape, so that you may be able to bear it.

Therefore, whether you eat, or you drink, or you do anything, do all things to the glory of God.

Therefore, let the one who thinks he stands take heed, lest he fall.

All things that are lawful are permitted to me, but not all things that are permitted are profitable. All things that are lawful are permitted to me, but all things that are permitted do not edify.

Let no one seek that which benefits himself; but let each seek that which benefits the other.
