Now faith is the foundation of what we hope for, the conviction of what we do not see. For by it, the people of old were commended.

Without faith it is impossible to please ʜɪᴍ, for he who comes to God must believe that ʜᴇ exists and that ʜᴇ is a rewarder of those who seek ʜɪᴍ.

By faith we understand that the universe was formed by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out from what is visible.
