So then, my beloved brothers, be steadfast and immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

But thanks be to God, who gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.”

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

“O Death, where is yoʋr sting? O Hades, where is yoʋr victory?” Now the sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

Behold, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet call. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead has also come through a man. For just as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ.

For this perishable body must put on imperishability, and this mortal body must put on immortality.

For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be abolished is death.
