My brethren, count it all joy when you 2f fall into different temptations; Knowing [this], that the trying of your faith works patience.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God-The Father, that gives to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

For what reason, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath

But let patience have [her] perfect work, that you 2f may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

But be you 2f doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) [is] the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord - Kurios has promised to them that love him.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a mirror: For he beholds himself, and goes his way, and immediately forgets what manner of man he was.
