Then the angel said to me, ‘These lamps are a picture of the message that the LORD says to Zerubbabel: “Your own strength and your own power will not give you success. It is my Spirit that will give you success.” That is what the LORD Almighty says.

It may seem that only a little work has begun. But do not think that it is useless. The seven eyes of the LORD see everything that happens in the world. They will see Zerubbabel as he continues the work on the temple building. That will cause everyone to be happy.

‘Zerubbabel has built the foundation of the temple. He will also finish the building.’ When that happens, you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me to you.
