Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.

Your word have I hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.

How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to Your word.

Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with all their heart.

You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word.

Give me understanding, so that I may keep Your law, and observe it with my whole heart.

Incline my heart unto Your testimonies, and not unto covetousness.

It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I might learn Your statutes.

This is my comfort in my affliction, that Your word has given me life.

Lead me in the path of Your commandments, for therein do I delight.

Teach me, O  LORD, the way of Your statutes, and I shall keep it to the end.

My soul melts for sorrow; strengthen me according to Your word.

Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day.
