This study, through the book of Hebrews, is designed to help believers in Christ Jesus live a victorious life of faith. It is called Faith Adventures because this study is derived from Chingtok Ishaku's book titled Faith Adventures.

This plan will explore what the letter of Hebrews can teach us in four different areas. 1) WHO GOD IS: God’s character and nature 2) WHO WE ARE: the identity of humanity and/or followers of Jesus 3) WHAT WE BELIEVE: core Christian doctrines 4) HOW WE LIVE: putting faith into action

While the Old Testament priest advocated for the people before God, he was still a sinner. Christ, on the other hand, is our sinless high priest who has nevertheless walked in our shoes, experienced our temptations, and felt an earned and complete sympathy for us. He is not only priest but sacrifice, purchasing our forgiveness; and not only does He forgive, but His Spirit transforms us. He is indeed a Great High Priest!

Christians are different. They can’t help it. When you’re in Christ and filled with the Spirit, it changes you. This leads to weird ideas and alternate beliefs about reality. This series of 5-day plans uses classic Christian Creeds as a vehicle to explain the Christian worldview compared to the world’s and help us see reality through Jesus’s eyes.

The world is a battlefield. Not only literally, when people groups or countries are fighting, but also spiritually. Satan has declared war on God and God’s people. This sounds terrifying, and therefore it is important to know that Jesus is stronger. He is stronger than sin, stronger than Satan, and stronger even than death itself.
