I was a drug addict for over 10 years, and I lost everything. I even tried to intentionally overdose, because I felt I had nothing left to live for. I didn't want to hear anything about God, because I was angry and bitter. I was lost and alone and didn't know how to fix my life. What I didn't know at the time was that it wasn't how to fix my life--it was Who could fix it.

For about two years now, I have seen a change in me that I can only credit Jesus for. Through the Verse of the Day, Guided Scripture, and Plans, I have enjoyed growing closer to God and strengthening my foundation in Him. I get the Verse of the Day push notification, and it reminds me to read my Bible every morning. Now, I look back and realize He was with me the whole time, just waiting for me to let Him in.
