Revere God, Respect the Government
In Christ, we are free. So, as Scripture says in 1 Peter 2:16, we are to “live as people who are free, not using freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.” In other words, we Christians are called to obey the law and seek justice. Government is God’s instrument of divine justice, and true biblical justice is applied without partiality. So, pray for the hearts of your government leaders who serve in the court systems that they would be stirred by the Holy Spirit to rule equally according to God’s moral law.
