Day Nineteen: Jeremiah 4-Jeremiah 36
Jeremiah diagnoses humanity and foretells of God’s coming plan to fix humanity. Our hearts are the problem. We are rebellious to the very core.
God will remove the heart of stone and give us a heart of flesh, and He will write His words and laws upon our hearts so that we may serve Him. This metaphor speaks of the coming of the Holy Spirit but also of the final process of glorification. Jeremiah’s prophecy is both being fulfilled and will be fulfilled.
