En 'n groot menigte mense en vroue het Hom gevolg, wat ook oor Hom geweeklaag en beklaag het. Maar Jesus het na hulle omgedraai en gesê: Dogters van Jerusalem, ween nie oor My nie, maar ween oor julleself en oor julle kinders. Want kyk, daar kom dae waarin hulle sal sê: Geseënd is die onvrugbare en die moederskoots wat nooit gebaar het nie, en die borste wat nooit gesoog het nie.
