Jesus het na hulle toe gedraai en gesê: “Dogters van Jerusalem, moenie oor Mý huil nie; huil liewer oor julleself en julle kinders omdat daar dae kom wanneer mense sal sê: ‘Gelukkig is die onvrugbare vroue en die moederskote wat nog nie ’n kind in die wêreld gebring het nie, sowel as die borste wat nog nooit gevoed het nie.’
