Red jouself, en ons!” Die ander een het hom egter bestraf en gesê: “Het jy nie ontsag vir God nie? Jy ondergaan per slot van rekening dieselfde straf! In ons geval is dit regverdig – ons word tereg gestraf vir wat ons gedoen het. Maar hierdie man het niks verkeerds gedoen nie.” Hy sê toe: “Jesus, dink aan my wanneer U in u koninkryk kom! ” Jesus het hom geantwoord: “•Amen, Ek sê vir jou, vandag sal jy saam met My in die paradys wees.”
