Maar wanneer Israel in sy nood na die HERE, die God van Israel, teruggekeer en Hom gesoek het, het Hy Hom deur hulle laat vind. In daardie tye was dit nie veilig vir iemand om uit te gaan of in te kom nie, want daar was groot paniek by al die bewoners van die lande. Nasie het teen nasie en stad teen stad gebots, omdat God hulle verward laat raak het deur elke moontlike teenspoed.
