Look, I have given you the authority   to trample   on snakes   and scorpions   and over all the power of the enemy;   nothing at all will harm you.

The Lord  answered her, ‘Martha, Martha, you are worried and upset about many things,   but one thing is necessary.   , Mary has made the right choice,   and it will not be taken away from her.’

He answered, ‘Love the Lord your God   with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’   and ‘your neighbour as yourself.’  

He told them,  ‘The harvest   is abundant, but the workers   are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.

‘Which of these three do you think proved to be a neighbour to the man who fell into the hands of the robbers? ’ ‘The one who showed mercy  to him,’ he said. Then Jesus told him, ‘Go and do the same.’

Now go; I’m sending you out like lambs among wolves.
