But He gives a greater grace! Let that sink in for a couple of minutes. When we see the word “but” in the Bible we know that there is a contrast taking place. How amazing is the contrast of God’s grace in our lives: 

You have fallen into sin… but He gives a greater grace! 

You have lost your way… but He gives a greater grace! 

Those around who have abandoned you… but He gives a greater grace! 

You’ve reached the end of yourself… but He gives a greater grace!

God opposes those who think they have it all together in their own strength. He thinks little of those who think too much of themselves. Yet for those who have realized their utter need for Him, that they are spiritually poor without Him, to them He gives the blessing of the Kingdom of Heaven! 

Do not let your story end with a full stop. Let it end with "…but He gives a greater grace”. God is there for you, ready for you to realise you need Him, because you do. He is ready to give you the grace you need. With that grace you are able to resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Who do you know that needs to hear this message? Go tell them that there is grace for them! If it is you, know that your story can end with “…but He gives a greater grace!” and thank Him for it!
