James concludes his letter with a strong, final encouragement, to help us live life in HD. Living live in the "high definition" Christ has for us, is locked up in walking together with others.
Throughout this journey of James' letter we learnt that God desires us to walk together with Him, and others, facing trials, gaining wisdom, relating to everyone at the same level. That our words have power, and we should live as friends of God. That we should move from being a hearer of the Word, to being a full active doer of the Word.
The final words of this letter, and surely James wanted to leave this as a parting thought, is that the greatest call to action in the Word, is to find those who wander from the truth, and bring them back. When one wanders too far away, it most surely will lead to death. A doer of the Word does everything possible to seek the wanderers, and bring them back to "life", life that is locked up in the truth of the Word, and the pages of this letter.
As this 55 day journey concludes, why don't you ask the Holy Spirit to continually empower you to seek the "wandering brother", and then go and find them, even today!
