The number one relationship in our lives that preempts all else is our relationship with God. We should desire to have a vibrant, passionate, and purposeful walk with him. Mark 12:30 tells us that we are to love Him with all our hearts, minds, souls, and strength.
The word "relationship" is built upon the word relation, which has roots in the Latin verb referre ("to bring back"). What are you bringing back to the Lord? Are you in constant fellowship with Him? How is your walk with Him? Do you spend time daily with God in prayer and meditation? Do you spend time reading His Word so you can learn more about God and His plans for you?
