Therefore, when they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonas, do you love Me more than these?” And he said to Him, “Yes, Lord. You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.” He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonas, do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Yes, Lord. You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Shepherd My sheep.” He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonas, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things. You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.

Truly, truly I say to you, since you were young, you have dressed yourself and walked wherever you have desired; but when you are old, you shall stretch out your hands, and another shall dress you and bring you where you do not desire to go.”

And He said to them, “Cast the net to the right side of the ship, and you shall find some.” Then they cast the net, but they did not have the strength to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.

Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.” They said to him, “We also will come with you.” They left immediately and got into the ship, but during that night they took nothing.
