Time Matters 

Many years ago, an old lady died in her home. After her death, while cleaning her home, they saw her diary. Everyday she has been writing something. On the first day of the year she had written, “Today no one came to meet me” and on the next day too she had written, “Today no one wrote to me” and on the next day as well the entry in her diary was the same. When the entire diary was checked, the same thing was written all the 365 days, over and over again. She had been living in loneliness. She had been writing continuously that she was lonely and had died with that burden in her heart. 

My friend, you may be living as a family but sometimes loneliness will be tormenting you. One gets afflicted because of loneliness. In this fast paced world, we sometimes get busy with our work and responsibilities and forget to spend time with our family. This has become a common problem in every family these days. But, remember God saw that it was not good for a man to be alone and hence He made him a helper. He instituted family and friends for us. Give full attention to your family, do not take them for granted – spend time with them. Teach them the ways of God and God will bless your family. 

Prayers

“Loving Lord, thank You for speaking to me through this word. Thank You Father, for You have given me a beautiful family. Forgive me Lord that I have sometimes forgotten to spend time with them and care for them. Let Your Holy Spirit help me to lead my family life wisely according to Your will. This I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
