Care-Taker 

People forget what you say and do; but they never forget how you make them feel. Once when my father was working in a bank, an IAS officer visited the place and my father happened to meet him. During their conversation, the officer shared an interesting episode with my father about his father-in-law. He said that ever since he got married, his father-in-law used to spend money for his family every month. He would send the required provision for his family from the fields. He took insurance policies in their name and paid the entire amount himself. This officer often used to wonder what his father-in-law would do after a grandchild was born to him. Days rolled by and God blessed the officer with a child. His parents-in-laws were thrilled to see their grandchild and came forward to bear all the expenses of the child. They raised the child in their native place. The officer did not have the burden of raising his child. In fact, he was enjoying the blessings showered upon him by his parents-in-law. 

In the same way, when you commit your life into God’s hands, God is faithful to care for you till the very end. He will grant you abundant blessings and make your life, whole. Place your entire burden upon Him. He will be faithful and help you lead a peaceful life. 

Prayer

“Loving Father, I thank You for this blessed day. I commit my life into Your hands. I place my burdens upon You. I believe that You will perfect everything that concerns me. I seek Your divine guidance to lead a peaceful life. In Jesus’ matchless name I pray, Amen.”
