Blessing For TodayMfano

Ashes to Throne!
In England, there was a cobbler called William Carey. He yielded himself to God at a young age, entered His service and journeyed to India. After coming to India, despite facing many odds, he started learning Sanskrit, so that he could preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the Indians. As God blessed his academic effort, he turned out to be an expert Sanskrit scholar. On coming to know of his mastery over Sanskrit, the British-Indian colonial government passed an order ruling all the government orders, which were originally in English, to be translated into Sanskrit. Then it was to be read and approved first by the missionary William Carey before making it public. Thus, he became so popular that every British Governor General of India, before taking up office, would respectfully visit him to receive his blessings! The Lord had honored his dedication and exalted him!
Yes! God exalted a cobbler to sit with kings. Do you say that ‘we have been in this pitiful state for generations? Do not be frustrated. He will lift you from the downtrodden state and make you sit with kings. The same God of William Carey is your God too! You will be exalted from your present state and will scale glorious heights.
Prayer
“Loving Father, I believe in this promise today. I regret that I put my trust on my educational qualification and family status. I decree and declare that I will sit among kings. Thank You for lifting me up and enabling me to sit with kings, Amen.”
‘Your seat is the throne; not the ash heap’

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work. We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
