Do Not Be Yoked 

Jesus is the One who sets us free. He is one who gives us freedom from the bondages of this world and helps us to enjoy life on this earth. He is waiting to set you free from the bondage in which you are bound. Let not your heart be troubled. Trust Him to wipe away all your tears. 

When India got independence, the leaders of the nations met the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi and asked him, “What do you want us to do? How do you want us to rule the nation? How do you want us to write the Indian constitution?” Mahatma simply said one thing, “Now that India has got independence, it’s a free nation. Please see to it that the tears of every Indian is wiped away using this freedom that was won at the cost of great sacrifices.” 

My beloved friend! The heart of your Heavenly Father is much more loving. He lovingly says, “Let Me deliver My children, wipe away their tears and set them free”. Perhaps you are crying that you are unable to be set free from sins and bondage. Jesus says, “Don’t be afraid. I will give you freedom. I will take everything that binds you onto Myself. I will not condemn you. Let not your heart be troubled.” Without your knowledge, even as Jesus enters your heart right now, you will find Him giving you freedom from sin. 

Prayer

“Loving Lord, I praise You because You alone can set me free from all the bondages of this world. Wipe all my tears and keep me under the protection of Your mighty wings. Keep me away from the lust of eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life. Guide and guard me in Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
