Psalm 16 makes the remarkable assertion that “I have no good apart from You.” Instead of seeking happiness through earthly pleasures, the psalmist chooses the Lord as his inheritance. The psalmist sees clearly that the presence of God is the only place with life, fullness of joy, and pleasures forevermore.
