Day 3 - Remember Past Wins There is something so encouraging about going over all the ways God has shown up and proven Himself faithful. David does it many times in the Bible. Israel was called to recount what God had done for them often. It’s in there because remembering what God has done for you has a way of cultivating gratitude, which spurs hope and faith. In Psalm 77, the psalmist is in a dark place and time. To the point of crying and moaning. Can you relate? I know I can! In response to the storm, the psalmist knows the only option is to go over all the ways God had shown up before. How God has performed wonders and redemption for His people. It was through this recounting that the psalmist was reminded that God always shows up. Start proclaiming the victories God has brought about in your life. Remember how He has come through in the past and how He has always worked things out. If you can do that and proclaim that God is the same today as He was then, you can muster the faith to believe He will come through for you in this season.
