DAG 14 AV 14

Observe & Interpret 1\. Read: Revelation 21.1-5. Summarize this passage in your own words. 2\. How does John describe eternal life in the presence of God? How does our experience of the presence of God change between today and that future day? (See Psalm 16.11; 34.18) 3\. Read Revelation 21.6-7; 22.1-4. How does John describe the eternal provision of God for His people? How does this change our perspective regarding the common ideal of self-sufficiency? 4\. Read 1 Corinthians 15.42-44. How does Paul describe the eternal provision of God for His people? Read Philippians 4.5-7. How does Paul describe the current provision of God for His people? 5\. Read Revelation 22.16-21. What is Jesus Christ’s final statement for believers reading His revelation? What is the proper response of those who have placed their hope in Him? Apply 1\. Why do we struggle to place our trust in the presence and provision of God? What are practical ways we could commit ourselves to acknowledging God’s presence and appreciating God’s provision even as we are awaiting perfection? 2\. Prayerfully determine the main biblical truth or principle that God revealed to you during your study. A few questions to ask are: Is there a promise for me to claim? Is there a truth for me to believe? Is there a command for me to obey? 3\. Memorize: Revelation 21.3 ' And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying: “Look! The residence of God is among human beings. He will live among them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them.'
