Observe & Interpret 1\. Read: Revelation 19.1-10. Summarize this passage in your own words. 2\. Who is giving praise to the Lord in this passage? Why are they praising God? 3\. Who is invited to the marriage banquet of the Lamb? Who is most likely to be the “bride of Christ”? What other scripture references support these identities? 4\. Read Revelation 19.11-21. Summarize this passage in your own words. 5\. This passage has a very different banquet in view than the marriage banquet of the Lamb. Who is invited to this “great banquet of God”? What is on the menu? Apply 1\. Why is it difficult to live with an eternal perspective, trusting God’s people will be preserved & destined for eternal celebration? What overwhelms or shrinks down our perspective in daily life? 2\. What steps can we take to live with the peace of Christ? See Philippians 4.6-7. Who can hold you accountable to entrusting God with your fears and frustrations through faith in Christ? 3\. Prayerfully determine the main biblical truth or principle that God revealed to you during your study. A few questions to ask are: Is there a promise for me to claim? Is there a truth for me to believe? Is there a command for me to obey? 4\. Memorize: Revelation 19.6b-7. “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the All-Powerful, reigns! Let us rejoice and exult and give him glory, because the wedding celebration of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.”
