Zanafilla 3:8-15 AL1

Pastaj dëgjuan zërin e ZOTIT Perëndi duke shëtitur në kopsht, në flladin e ditës, dhe njeriu me gruan e tij u fshehën nga prania e ZOTIT Perëndi mes pemëve të kopshtit. ZOTI Perëndi e thirri njeriun e i tha: «Ku je?». Ai u përgjigj: «Ta dëgjova zërin në kopsht e pata frikë, se isha lakuriq, prandaj u fsheha». Dhe ai tha: «Kush të tha se je lakuriq? A mos hëngre nga pema që të urdhërova të mos hash?». Njeriu u përgjigj: «Gruaja që më dhe, më dha prej pemës e unë hëngra». ZOTI Perëndi i tha gruas: «Çfarë bëre kështu?». Gruaja u përgjigj: «Gjarpri më mashtroi e unë hëngra». ZOTI Perëndi i tha gjarprit: «Për këtë që bëre, mallkuar qofsh ndër gjithë bagëtitë e kafshët e egra. Mbi bark do të zvarritesh e pluhur do të hash gjithë ditët e jetës tënde. Armiqësi do të shtie mes teje e gruas, mes farës tënde e farës së saj që do të ta shtypë kokën, ndërsa ti do t'i plagosësh thembrën».
