Are We Loving Well?

DAY 15 OF 15

Conclusion to the Bible Study: Are We Loving Well?

As we close this study, remember that loving well is not a destination—it’s a journey. Throughout this study, we’ve learned that love is more than just a feeling or an action; it reflects God's very nature. We love because He first loved us, and through His grace, we are empowered to love others in the same way.

The qualities of love we’ve explored—patience, kindness, humility, endurance, and so much more are not meant to be mastered in a day but to be continually nurtured through the work of the Holy Spirit in us. As you move forward, reflect on how you can apply these truths in your daily life. How can you show patience when you feel frustrated? How can you extend kindness to those who may not deserve it? How can you hope and endure in the face of challenges?

The beautiful thing about God’s love is that it is always present, always patient, and always willing to help us grow. So, as you continue to walk with Him, let His love transform you into a reflection of the love He has shown to the world. And when you stumble or fall short, remember that His grace is sufficient.

May you be encouraged to love well, with the same depth, humility, and endurance that Christ has shown us. Love well, because you are loved well—always and forever!

Closing Prayer: 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for guiding me through this journey of discovering what true love looks like through Your Word. I’m humbled by the depth of Your love—patient, kind, enduring, and unwavering. As I’ve reflected on each quality of love, I recognize how much I need Your Spirit to transform my heart.

Help me love well, not just when it’s easy, but when it’s difficult. Teach me to forgive quickly, to speak gently, to think humbly, and to serve selflessly. Let Your love be the standard I desire to live by and the legacy I hope to leave behind. When I fall short, remind me that You are a loving Father who understands. Your grace is sufficient, and Your love never fails.

May my life be a growing reflection of Your perfect love, drawing others to know You through the way I live and love. May I grow daily in love, walking closely with You, rooted in Your truth, and led by Your Spirit.

In Jesus’ name I pray,
Amen.

About this Plan

Are We Loving Well?

God is love, and we love because He first loved us (1 John 4:19). Still, life’s hardships and our human flaws often make it hard to love others as God loves us. The aim isn’t perfection but transformation—becoming more like Christ in how we love. As you reflect, ask yourself: Are we loving well? This isn’t about comparing ourselves to others, but about honestly assessing our hearts, identifying where growth is needed, and realigning our love with God’s, so that His love can flow through us more freely.
