Are We Loving Well?ਨਮੂਨਾ

Devotional 13: Love Hopes All Things
“…love hopes all things…” — 1 Corinthians 13:7 (ESV)
Reflection
Hope is the anchor of the soul, and love never lets go of it. Love always chooses to look forward with expectation, believing that no situation is beyond redemption, and no person is beyond grace. While circumstances may be difficult, love refuses to settle into despair or resignation.
To hope all things is to cling to the belief that God can bring light to the darkest places and turn ashes into beauty. It’s a refusal to let go of the possibility of restoration, renewal, and transformation. Love holds on to the future with open hands, trusting God to bring His good purposes into every situation.
Scripture References
- Jeremiah 29:11 (ESV) – “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
- Romans 15:13 (ESV) – “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”
- Romans 8:24-25 (ESV) – “For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.”
Practical Application
- Under challenging situations, actively choose to hold on to hope. Speak words of faith, even when things seem bleak.
- Reflect on God’s past faithfulness in your life and allow it to fuel your hope for the future.
- Support someone who has lost hope by reminding them of God’s ability to bring about change, and offer words that encourage a hopeful perspective.
Prayer
God of hope, when the storms of life threaten to cloud my vision, remind me of Your promises and Your faithful love. Teach me to hold on to hope in every situation, knowing that You are always working for good. Let my passion reflect Your unshakable hope. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Call to Action
Find one area where you’ve been tempted to give up hope this week. Surrender it to God in prayer and ask Him to reignite your hope. Look for small signs of His faithfulness in that area and hold on to them.
About this Plan

God is love, and we love because He first loved us (1 John 4:19). Still, life’s hardships and our human flaws often make it hard to love others as God loves us. The aim isn’t perfection but transformation—becoming more like Christ in how we love. As you reflect, ask yourself: Are we loving well? This isn’t about comparing ourselves to others, but about honestly assessing our hearts, identifying where growth is needed, and realigning our love with God’s, so that His love can flow through us more freely.
