Unshakeable Kingdom

The kingdom of God cannot be overcome. It is firm and unshakeable. It will never be destroyed, and it won’t lose its influence or break apart. The kingdoms of this world rise and fall, but God’s kingdom remains constant. Governments shift and change, but the government of our God will never crumble.

God is our ruler, righteous king, and perfect Prince of Peace. He will never abandon his kingdom, so we need never fear his absence. It is his great joy to sustain everything he has made. He holds it all together perfectly, and we can trust his leadership. He knows all of our needs, and he is fully capable of providing for us. He sees each trial we experience, and he offers us comfort and wisdom. He equips us for each of our days, and he protects us in ways we don’t understand.

God’s authority never changes despite the shaking we experience in this world. Economic turmoil, social tension, or political strife cannot take away our position in God’s kingdom. Our inheritance is secure, and God’s victory is determined. We stand firmly on the foundation of his mercy, justice, and love. The more we trust in his ways over the shifting ways of the world, the more confidence and peace we will experience.

Today, anchor your hope in the kingdom of God. Refuse to feel shaken or discouraged by the world around you. Let God’s powerful and peaceful voice speak to you the loudest. Don’t give in to the call for anxiety, outrage, or despair. The world around you will surely crumble, but God will not fail. You don’t have to be dismayed or shocked by the state of things. Instead, turn your eyes toward the Lord and allow him to hold you steady. Plant your faith on the solid rock of God’s mercy, knowing his justice and goodness will come.
