Discover Your Redemptive Purpose

DAY 7 OF 7

Begin to Name Your Purpose
Because naming your purpose helps you walk in it.

You’ve spent the last six days listening, noticing, responding. You’ve looked at what breaks your heart, how you see differently, how your presence affects others, and what’s already in your hands. You’ve taken steps of trust. You’ve paid attention.

And now, you’re beginning to see: this isn’t just insight. It’s identity.

God has been drawing out your redemptive purpose—piece by piece, word by word. And today, you’re invited to begin naming what you’ve found.

In Scripture, naming is an act of calling. When Adam named the animals in Genesis 2, it wasn’t a casual task—it was a mark of stewardship. When Jesus renamed Simon as Peter, it was a turning point. It wasn’t about who Simon had been, but about who Jesus saw him becoming. And in Revelation, God promises a name only He knows for each of His own—a name that speaks to your true identity, known deeply and personally by the One who created you.

Naming your purpose doesn’t mean you have every detail figured out. It simply means you’re beginning to say out loud what God has been whispering all along.

There’s power in that. Because when you name something, you start to own it. You begin to recognize it as real and sacred. You begin to walk differently—not with arrogance, but with clarity.

Your redemptive purpose is not a slogan or a job title. It’s your unique way of partnering with God to bring hope and healing to others—through your burdens, your gifts, your story, your presence, and your love.

So as you close this part of the journey, don’t rush to wrap it all up. Sit with it. Reflect. Begin to write. What phrases have risen over the past few days? What themes have echoed? What threads have woven together?

Ask God to help you name what He’s revealed.

It won’t be perfect. It may evolve. But naming it—even imperfectly—marks a shift. It turns insight into movement. Vision into direction. Calling into something you can carry.

You’ve seen more of what’s inside you.
Now it’s time to say it.

Today’s Step

Look back at what you’ve written, noticed, and prayed this week. Then begin to write a sentence that describes your redemptive purpose. Try starting with:

“I was made to…”

Let it feel real. Let it feel hopeful. Let it be something you grow into over time. Read it aloud to God. Ask Him to keep shaping it with you.

Closing Prayer

God, thank You for this journey. Thank You for revealing pieces of the purpose You’ve placed within me. As I begin to name it, help me carry it not for my sake, but for the sake of others—for those who need to experience Your love, healing, and hope through my life. Shape my words and my steps to reflect what You’ve entrusted to me. Keep speaking. Keep guiding. And help me live out what You’ve designed me to give away. Amen.

About this Plan

Discover Your Redemptive Purpose

Somewhere inside, you’ve sensed there’s more—not more to achieve, but more to give, to see, to become. Purpose doesn’t arrive all at once; it reveals itself in pieces—the burdens you carry, the perspective you hold, the impact you have, and the gifts already in your hands. This 7-day journey will help you begin to discover your purpose: the life God designed you to live, the healing He created you to bring. Through Scripture, prayer, and simple daily steps, you’ll name what’s already been growing in you. If you’re ready to start—this is your next step.
