Discover Your Redemptive Purposeਨਮੂਨਾ

Discover the Gifts You Already Carry
Because your God-given abilities were meant to bring others to life.
You already have what you need to start.
That might be hard to believe, especially if you’ve been waiting for more clarity, more confidence, or a more obvious opportunity. But God often begins with what’s already in your hands. Not just what you’ve trained for or been praised for but the abilities that come so naturally, you barely notice them.
When Moses was called to confront Pharaoh, he questioned his readiness. “What if they don’t believe me?” he asked. And God’s response was beautifully simple: “What’s in your hand?” Moses looked down and saw a staff—just part of his daily work as a shepherd. But when surrendered to God, that ordinary staff became a tool of deliverance, miracles, and leadership.
So let me ask you:
What’s in your hand?
You may have overlooked your gifts because they come so easily. But that’s often where purpose lives.
Maybe you bring clarity in chaos—through organizing, leading, or making systems that work.
Maybe you naturally care—by listening deeply, encouraging others, or anticipating people’s needs.
Maybe you create—through design, words, beauty, or hospitality.
Maybe you build—teams, trust, ideas, spreadsheets, or strategy.
Each of these is a form of service. And each one is sacred when surrendered to God.
In Romans 12, Paul says you’ve been given gifts according to the grace of God, and you’re called to use them with sincerity and diligence. In 1 Peter 4, you’re reminded to steward those gifts in service to others—not because you have to, but because you get to. Your abilities, however subtle or specific, were meant to help restore what’s been broken.
They are part of your redemptive purpose.
And they’re not just for one season or one role. They show up across your life—in your work, your friendships, your home, your community, and even in the things you dream about doing but haven’t started yet.
Sometimes you won’t feel “ready.” But readiness often grows in motion. When you begin to offer what you have with a heart that says, “God, use this however You want,” purpose starts to unfold in ways you couldn’t have planned.
So look at your life today. Notice what comes easily to you. What people trust you with. What you love to do that seems to lift others. These aren’t just personality traits or job skills. They’re clues. They’re pieces of the assignment you were made to carry.
You are equipped.
You are resourced.
And you are ready to use what’s in your hands.
Today’s Step
Make a list of what’s in your hands—your natural strengths, life experiences, resources, and skills that others lean on. Then ask:
“God, which of these do You want to use today to bring healing or hope to someone?”
Offer it—on purpose. Even the smallest act can carry extraordinary impact when placed in God’s hands.
Closing Prayer
God, thank You for the gifts You’ve placed in my life—not just for my growth, but for the good of others. Use what’s in my hands to serve, to build, to heal, and to lift what feels heavy for those around me. Help me notice where my strengths can meet someone else’s need. Let my abilities reflect Your love in tangible ways, and let the work of my hands be part of the restoration You’re bringing to the world. Amen.
