Discover Your Redemptive Purpose

DAY 3 OF 7

Discover How You See Differently
Because your unique perspective is part of your purpose.

You were created to see in a way that no one else does.

It may feel subtle or unremarkable to you, but that’s only because it comes naturally. You notice patterns, ask questions, spot gaps, or imagine solutions—often before anyone else has even realized there’s a problem.

That’s not a coincidence.
That’s design.

God gave you a unique lens. He wired your mind and heart to notice specific forms of brokenness—and to imagine what healing could look like. That lens is not a burden. It’s a gift. And it’s one of the clearest clues to your redemptive purpose.

It's the unique perspective God gave you to help you recognize where you fit in the larger work of restoration. Just like in a film, your angle shapes how you see the scene and how you respond. It determines the part of the story you’re most drawn to—the people, the barriers, the overlooked opportunities.

Maybe you’ve always been drawn to the structural side of injustice—the policies, the power dynamics, the resources that never seem to flow where they’re needed. Or maybe your angle is more relational—seeing people who are lonely, passed over, or burdened by shame. Your angle isn’t about what you should care about. It’s what you naturally see. And it’s holy.

In Habakkuk 1, the prophet cries out to God about all the injustice he sees around him. It’s overwhelming—but God responds by revealing how He’s already at work and invites Habakkuk to keep watch.

In Luke 10, it’s the Samaritan—not the priest or the Levite—who notices the man on the side of the road and moves toward him. He not only sees, but sees differently.

And in Nehemiah 1, Nehemiah hears about the broken walls of Jerusalem and is immediately burdened. Others had heard the same report, but he saw a need for strategy, leadership, and rebuilding. His angle wasn’t just emotional—it was structural. He saw what needed to be restored and had the wisdom to act on it. His perspective helped rebuild a city.

Seeing is part of calling.
And your angle is not random. It’s redemptive.

Sometimes we miss it because we assume everyone sees what we see. But they don’t. Your vision is part of your purpose. God gave it to you so you could help bring about the healing others overlook.

Let today be a day you name it.

Today’s Step

Write out one problem or area of brokenness you consistently notice. What bothers you that others seem to accept as normal? Ask God:

“Why do I keep seeing this? What do You want me to understand about it?”

Let the answer surface without judgment. It’s part of your design.

Closing Prayer

God, thank You for the way You’ve wired me to see. Thank You for showing me problems, not to overwhelm me, but to invite me into Your healing work. Give me clarity and courage to follow what I notice. Help me trust that my perspective is a gift and part of how You want to bring hope into the world. Amen.

About this Plan

Discover Your Redemptive Purpose

Somewhere inside, you’ve sensed there’s more—not more to achieve, but more to give, to see, to become. Purpose doesn’t arrive all at once; it reveals itself in pieces—the burdens you carry, the perspective you hold, the impact you have, and the gifts already in your hands. This 7-day journey will help you begin to discover your purpose: the life God designed you to live, the healing He created you to bring. Through Scripture, prayer, and simple daily steps, you’ll name what’s already been growing in you. If you’re ready to start—this is your next step.
