Have you ever seen how a baby will begin to imitate or copy someone else? You can make a silly face at them; eventually, they will try to do it back. In the same way, as God’s children, we can imitate God with our lives. This doesn’t mean making a silly face back at God. (Do you think God makes faces at us? Maybe!) No, this means loving people as God does, seeing people like God does, and forgiving people like God does. We are God’s children. So, just like a child will imitate their parent, we should imitate God with the way we live.

This week, write down five different ways you can imitate God. Then, pick one to focus on.
