Day One 

During this series we are going to journey through ‘Everything's A Gift’. We want to journey each day together and look at how having this DNA helps us to live a life being thankful for God, ourselves and all those around us. When we live like this, joy grows in us and helps us have a happy heart, even in the toughest of times. 

Everything’s a Gift - We always celebrate and practice thankfulness! We choose to focus on how great God is. We are thankful for everything in our lives and for the people around us.

Jesus and His disciples gathered together for a special meal called the ‘Passover’.

This is a special time when the Jewish community comes together to celebrate God setting them free from being slaves in ancient Egypt. They say 'thank you' to God and show gratitude to Him.

ASK:

Perhaps sometimes you have a special meal with your family? There is always something that we can be thanking God for. He gives us so much. 

When we come together with our family and friends at a meal, it's a great time to say 'thank you' for everything He gives us!

REMEMBER:

Psalm 9:1 

I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;  I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.

SAY:

My God is good, 

He is awesome and great.

He helps me be strong,

Even when I’m afraid. 

I will say thank you,

For all He has done.

For me and my people, 

He loves everyone.
